About the Artist

Andrea Hand grew up in Wilton, Connecticut. She pursued academics and art at Elmira College in New York and Denison University in Ohio where she received her BA in Studio Art in 1971. Andrea has been commissioned to draw child and family portraits since 1980. Andrea’s work is displayed in homes throughout New England and the east coast. A full-time portrait artist, Andrea now lives in Bangor, Maine.
